Our team just wrapped up a tricky canal cleanup downtown

The city hired us to remove buildup from the old drainage canal. We used a smaller cutter head to navigate the tight spaces, and it worked like a charm. What methods do you all prefer for confined urban dredging?

Would a bigger cutter save more time long-term though?

Well it depends on what you're cutting all the time. A bigger cutter is faster on thick stuff, sure. But if you mostly handle thinner materials, the speed boost is useless. You're just moving a heavier, more awkward tool for no real gain. Are you actually bogged down by thick plastic or metal, or is that just a sometimes thing?

Probably not enough to matter unless you're cutting all day every day.
