PSA: I let go of my old drafting table for a computer

I stuck with paper and pencil for a long time, thinking it was better. A job with a short timeline pushed me to try CAD, and I see the benefit now. Changing drawings is way faster.

But what do you mean by shift? If it's baseball, then yeah it's super common now. Teams use it on almost every lefty pull hitter, like Joey Gallo always sees three guys on the right side. I heard shifts went from rare to normal in just a few years. Does it even work that well anymore, or do hitters just need to learn to bunt?

Yeah, it's wild how fast it took over! I feel for guys like Gallo, but @michael_mason is right, it's everywhere now. I saw a stat that shifts cut down on hits a lot, especially ground balls. Honestly, I'm surprised more hitters don't just drop a bunt to third base and take the free base.
