Just found out my old way of checking line weights was way off

I was cleaning out my old files and found a spec sheet from a project I did back in 2017. I always used a 0.35mm line for hidden details, but the sheet clearly said 0.25mm. I checked three other old projects and I was wrong on all of them. This whole time I've been making my prints harder to read. Has anyone else found a basic drafting habit they had wrong for years?

Remember my buddy who used the wrong layer colors for like five years? He printed a whole set in magenta that should've been red... contractors were so confused.

Oh man that's a mood right there. Found out last year I'd been reading a tape measure wrong for like a decade, the little marks past the half inch? Totally had them backwards. My contractor friend still roasts me for it. At least your prints were just hard to read, I almost built a shelf two inches too short.

My uncle did a whole kitchen remodel with the tape measure upside down once. He kept wondering why the counter kept getting shorter. Honestly @perez.barbara, at least you had a friend to correct you, some of us are out here learning these things the hard way. I feel like tape measures should come with a warning label for the easily confused. How did you even figure out your mistake?
