Can we talk about the difference between a 0.5mm and a 0.7mm lead holder for detail work?

Totally get that. My shaky hands make even a 0.7 look like I'm drawing with a crayon sometimes. The finer point just gives you a fighting chance for clean lines, especially on tiny details.

Oh man, the difference between 0.5 and 0.7 for detail is huge. I used a 0.7 for years thinking it was fine, then switched to 0.5 for sketching small stuff and it was a total game changer (the lines are just so much cleaner). I still keep a 0.7 around for quick notes or shading bigger areas, though. For any real precision, that half-millimeter is the only way to go.
