My uncle swore by WD-40 on rusty tools, I thought he was nuts
He told me last summer to spray my old garden shears with it and let 'em sit overnight. I finally tried it last week and they work like new again, no joke. Anyone else have a weird fix from a family member that actually worked?

My grandpa fixed a sticky carburetor with pepper once, worked like a charm.
