Almost got sick from a dollar store spice blend last week

I grabbed a jar of 'garlic herb seasoning' from a Dollar Tree in Tulsa on Tuesday. When I opened it at home, the smell was off and there were little clumps inside that looked like mold. Checked the label and it didn't even have an expiration date, just a code I couldn't read. Has anyone else gotten questionable spices from discount shops lately?

Dollar Tree spices are basically gambling with your digestive system. Sounds like you grabbed a jar that was sitting in a hot warehouse since the Bush administration. Those clumps were probably a science experiment that escaped from a lab. Next time just buy the fresh stuff, your stomach will thank you. Or at least pick up some salt that hasn't evolved into a new life form.

Wait that's actually not super fair, Dollar Tree spices are hit or miss but not that bad.
