Warning: my bathroom vanity install turned into a three day project because of one crooked wall.

Tell me about it. That crooked wall problem is the silent killer of weekend projects. You measure everything twice, cut once, and then nothing lines up. I spent an entire afternoon just shimming a base cabinet until it looked straight. It's enough to make you want to hire everything out.

Three days for one wall... that's brutal.

Yeah, have you ever tried using a laser level on a crooked wall? It sounds dumb but it actually saved me on a project like this. I just set it up, marked where the studs really were, and adjusted my cuts to match the actual wall instead of hoping it was straight. Also, I learned to gap my baseboards and use scribing to trace the floor line so it sits flush. Takes extra time but it stops the whole "nothing lines up" headache from the start.
