Took me 3 tries to get a simple shelf level on a plaster wall

oh man plaster walls are the WORST for that. i swear every time i try to hang something it ends up looking like a crooked mess no matter how many times i redo it lol

oh totally @jade885, plaster's like it has a mind of its own... i swear i've hung three different picture frames in the same spot and every single one looked like it was about to slide off the wall. and don't even get me started on the anchors you gotta use, feels like i'm building a ship in a bottle every time i grab a hammer. honestly if it tries to make me crooked one more time i'm just gonna nail the level to the wall lol.
