I mean, idk, maybe it's just me, but my living room floor has this one spot that sounds like a mouse trap. I learned that sprinkling cornstarch into the cracks can stop the noise for a while. Has anyone had luck with this, or is there a better way?
Honestly, what @jake_ward said about cornstarch is spot on. This happens all the time with cheap home fixes. Like baking soda to get rid of fridge smells, it stops working fast. Or banana peels for shiny shoes, the shine goes away quick. We go for these easy fixes because they're handy, but they don't last. It's the curse of the quick solution.
