Spent 6 hours stripping one stupid chair leg because I grabbed the wrong stripper
So I finally decided to tackle this old oak dining chair I got from a garage sale for $10. Looked easy, just needed the varnish stripped and a light sand. Grabbed my go-to citrus stripper from the basement and went to town on the first leg. After an hour of scrubbing and barely any progress, I was cursing up a storm. Turns out I grabbed the wood conditioner instead of the stripper. They're in almost identical bottles. Wasted like 3 hours before I realized my mistake and switched to the real stuff. By the time I finished all four legs, it was midnight and my arms were dead. Has anyone else mixed up similar looking products and paid the price with lost time?

Spent a whole afternoon once trying to strip paint off a door with mineral spirits instead of the actual stripper. @noahbaker is right about labeling, I still haven't done it either. Hope your arms feel better than mine did the next day.
