Met a guy at the local park who taught me how to tune PID loops by feel

I was at the soccer field off 5th street last Sunday messing with my 5 inch quad when some dude walked up and watched me crash for 20 minutes. He handed me his transmitter and said try my rates instead - it was like the drone finally listened to me. He tweaked my P gain down by 15 points on the spot and it stopped that oscillating wobble I've been fighting for weeks. Anyone else have a random stranger fix a problem you'd been debugging for months?

That "oscillating wobble" you mentioned, did dropping the P gain mess with your throttle feel at all or did it clean that up too?

Nope, cleaned it right up, throttle actually felt smoother after the adjustment.
