That lady at the dog park was right about fleece knots
Last month a woman named Carol at Riverside Park told me I was wasting my time with braided t-shirt toys. She insisted double-knotted fleece strips last way longer. Sure enough my lab mix destroyed three braided toys in one afternoon while her fleece knot from three weeks ago still looked new. Anybody else have a park stranger give advice that actually worked?

Funny how random people sometimes just know things better than us. @wesley_hart I feel you, some dogs really are just toy destroyers no matter what you do. But this kind of thing happens all the time like when a stranger at the hardware store told me the exact right caulk for my bathroom and saved me three trips back.

...and they're just toys, man. I'm glad your dog likes the fleece knots better but I'm not sure we need to act like Carol from the dog park is some kind of oracle. My dog goes through anything in like an hour regardless of what material it is. I've had fleece knots unravel just as fast as braided stuff depending on how aggressive the dog chews. Maybe your lab mix is just more careful than mine.
