Hot take: those braided fleece tug toys everyone raves about? My dog shredded one in 4 minutes flat.
I saw all the posts in here about how indestructible those braided fleece tug toys are, so I finally made one last weekend. Took me a solid hour to cut the strips and braid it tight, you know? I was so proud of myself, thought I'd cracked the code for a toy that would last more than a day. Gave it to my lab mix, Daisy, and she had the whole thing unraveled and in pieces by the time I finished my coffee. I was honestly kind of impressed she even ate one of the fleece strips, though I had to fish it out of her mouth. My neighbor laughed and said her golden retriever did the same thing, so I'm wondering if those toys only work for little dogs or something? Anyone else have a big chewer that proved the braided fleece hype wrong?
