Swapped my monitor riser for a cheap shelf bracket today

I spent 6 months using a random wooden box under my monitor and it wobbled every time i typed. Finally grabbed a $12 shelf bracket from Home Depot and screwed it into the wall behind my desk and now my screen is rock solid. Anyone else ditch the bulky riser for a wall mounted setup?

Had a buddy who used stacked textbooks for months until one slid off and took his coffee mug with it. He switched to a wall shelf bracket and never looked back, so I bet you're good now.

Ngl that's exactly what happened to me last year, totally saw it coming too with my wobbly stack of books. Wall bracket saved my desk and my sanity for real.
