Just realized my monitor arm was causing my neck pain, not my chair
I spent three months adjusting my chair height and cushioning, but my neck still hurt. Then last week I measured my eye level against the monitor and found it was 2 inches too low even with the arm adjusted. Has anyone else traced their desk setup issues to something they weren't looking at?
Oh man, you just reminded me of my old setup where I had my monitor propped up on a stack of old textbooks. I thought I was being clever saving money on a stand, but then my cat decided that pile was the perfect launchpad for her daily parkour routine. Whole thing came crashing down, monitor somehow survived but my coffee didn't. Now I just use a cheap arm mount I found on sale. Height really is one of those things you don't think about until it bites you.
