Found a $3 pack of command hooks at a garage sale and it changed my cable management game
I was driving back from Home Depot last Saturday and saw this random garage sale sign on a side street near downtown. Figured why not, stopped and found this pack of 20 command hooks for three bucks still in the wrapper. I used them to run my monitor cables along the underside of my desk instead of letting them hang loose. Before that I had this horrible tangle of wires just sitting under my feet and it drove me crazy. Took maybe 20 minutes to stick them all in a straight line and route everything. Now my desk actually looks clean for the first time since I built it. Has anyone else found a cheap solution that worked way better than those expensive cable trays?

That's a great find for three bucks, I've spent way more on those overpriced cable trays and still ended up with a mess. My own cable management is basically just me hoping my cat doesn't get tangled in it while I sleep. Maybe I need to stop overthinking and just grab some cheap hooks myself.

Yeah, have you tried those command adhesive hooks? They hold up surprisingly well and you can just stick em right on the desk or wall. Saved me from drilling holes and still keeps everything off the floor.
