Best week I ever had for cable management was when I got sick of zip ties

Last month I spent a whole Saturday redoing my desk cables. I had this rats nest under my desk for like 2 years and finally bought a pack of those adhesive raceways from Home Depot for $12. Took me 4 hours but now I can actually vacuum under there without pulling cords loose. Has anyone else found a cheap trick that made a bigger difference than you thought?

Wait, are people really this stressed about dust bunnies and cable mess? lol. I mean I get wanting it to look neat but you're talking about it like it was some kind of life-changing event. My cables are a mess under my desk and I just kick them out of the way when I vacuum, takes like 2 seconds. I feel like spending 4 hours on that is just overkill unless you're filming a desk tour for YouTube or something.

Four hours on cable management? I mean, I get it looks cleaner but did the dust bunnies under there really have you that stressed out?

Oh man, @kevin_hernandez83, you've never met my dust bunnies. I swear they were organizing into some kind of rebellion under there, plotting to take over my PC fans. Four hours might sound extreme, but have you ever tried untangling a mess that looks like a family of spiders knitted a sweater out of cables? My fingers still hurt but at least now it looks like I actually live here and not like a raccoon set up shop behind the desk.
