Last month I tried making a desk organizer from an old cereal box
I saw a tutorial online and gave it a shot with some leftover cardboard and wrapping paper. It actually held up for three weeks before the sides started sagging from the weight of my pens. Is there a trick to reinforcing cardboard so it doesn't droop like that?

Yo, double layer the cardboard next time. Glue two sheets together with wood glue, not school glue. That stuff dries hard as a rock.

Three years back I helped a buddy build a cat tower from scrap lumber and glue. We used regular wood glue on the joints and that thing still holds up to 15 pounds of cat jumping on it every day. Funny how the right kind of glue makes all the difference in stuff we build ourselves, isn't it?
