I was shocked to learn my grandma's old desk organizer was worth $200 at auction
I was cleaning out my attic last month and found this beat up wooden pen holder my grandma used for 50 years. It had scratches and a wobbly leg, so I almost tossed it. But I looked up the maker mark online and found out it's a vintage 1950s piece from a small Vermont woodshop that closed in 1962. Sold it to a collector for $200 and now I'm kicking myself for nearly throwing away such a nice bit of desk history. Has anyone else found something valuable hiding in plain sight on their desk?
