Wasted $40 on a frothing wand that died in 2 weeks
Picked up one of those battery powered milk frothers from a kitchen supply store near me. Thought I was being smart skipping the fancy brand. Thing worked okay for about 10 cups then just stopped spinning. Took it apart and the motor was all gummed up from steam getting in. Should have just spent the extra $20 on a stainless steel one with a sealed motor. Anyone else had cheap frothers crap out on them fast?

My buddy did the exact same thing with a cheap frother from a discount store. "Thing worked okay for about 10 cups then just stopped spinning" was basically his story too. He left it on the counter near the sink and said moisture got into the battery compartment after a few weeks. Took it apart and found green corrosion on the contacts. He got so mad he threw it in the trash and bought a handheld whisk instead. Told me he learned his lesson about paying for quality. I just use a fork most of the time now.

Nah same thing happened to my cheap one, the motor started making this awful grinding noise after like two weeks and then just quit on me too. Total garbage, should have known better.
