Tried frothing oat milk in a French press and got a weird chunky result
Dug out my old French press from college last week to froth milk since my frother died, but the oat milk turned into these lumpy curds halfway through. Anybody else have plant milks freak out with a different method than what you're used to?

Oat milk is REALLY picky about heat, it's almost like it has a temper. I've noticed this same thing with plant milks and coffee, they just don't handle sudden temperature changes the same way dairy does. It's like the proteins in oat milk freak out if you shock them too fast, and then you get that gross lumpy mess. Reminds me of how people get so surprised when their almond milk curdles in hot coffee, it's just part of the whole "plant milk is a different beast" thing.

Wait, is oat milk secretly just a diva with trust issues? I swear, I once tried warming some up for a latte and it immediately flipped out like I insulted its ancestors, turning into these sad little clumps. It's honestly embarrassing how many plant based drinks I've ruined by just looking at them wrong with a hot cup nearby. Makes you wonder if they're just designed to keep us humble.
