My cheap coffee experiment this week actually worked out

I tried adding a pinch of salt and a tiny bit of cinnamon to my Folgers last Tuesday and it seriously cut the bitter edge. Has anyone else had luck with weird pantry add-ins for saving a bland cup?

hold up, are we really acting like a pinch of salt and some cinnamon is some kind of coffee revelation lol. like, it's a pretty normal trick people have been doing for ages, especially with cheaper beans. salt cuts bitterness, cinnamon adds flavor, it's not exactly gourmet science. i just think calling it "my cheap coffee experiment" is a bit much for something so basic. but hey, if it makes your morning cup less gross, then good for you i guess.
