Frozen coffee cube trick saved my morning after I burned my tongue

Was making my usual cheap Folgers last week and forgot to let it cool, so I threw a couple frozen milk cubes in there and it actually made the whole cup taste way smoother. Anyone else tried freezing their creamer ahead of time or am I late to this?
