Finally stopped adding milk to my cheap drip coffee and wow what a difference
Used to pour 2 tablespoons of half-and-half into my $6 Folgers every morning for years. Last month I ran out of milk and just drank it black out of desperation. The bitterness was intense at first but after a week I started tasting actual notes I never noticed before. Now I just add a tiny pinch of salt before brewing and it smooths everything out without covering up the flavor. Has anyone else tried ditching creamer for a whole new taste experience?

Black coffee converts unite. I switched last year and never looked back.

Oh man, I feel you so hard on this one. @troy_sanchez8 knows what's up. I did the same thing about two years ago when I was broke between shifts and just gave up on creamer cold turkey. That first week was rough, I'm not gonna lie. But after that, I started picking up all these weird little flavors I never knew were there, almost like the coffee had a secret personality I was missing out on. The salt trick is legit too, I've been doing that for a while and it really takes the edge off without drowning everything out. It's wild how something so simple can change your whole morning routine, right?
