Scored a spoke tension meter for $12 at a garage sale in Phoenix and it totally changed how I true wheels

A YouTube vid from some mechanic in Tucson showed me how 90% of wheel wobbles come from uneven spoke tension not bent rims, so now I actually check each spoke instead of just tightening everything, has anyone else found a used tool that completely shifted their approach?

Oh man that's a killer find! I grabbed an old Park Tool truing stand at a swap meet for $20 and it made me realize I'd been fighting my wheels for years instead of fixing them right.
