Tried that concrete sealer spray from the big box store

Went with the cheap $15 can instead of the $40 one. It peeled off after two months and now my patio looks patchy as hell. Anyone found a spray sealer that actually holds up through a Minnesota winter?

Used to think the expensive stuff was a rip-off but you just changed my mind.

Tried that concrete sealer spray" is where the trouble starts. Spray sealers from the hardware store are basically glorified paint with some chemicals mixed in. They're not really made to handle actual winter weather. Bad patchy job is just the cost of learning that lesson. I've had decent luck with the thick roll-on stuff you get at a proper lumberyard, but even that needs a clean dry surface and the right temperature to stick. Minnesota winters are tough on anything. Honestly though, how bad is the patchy look? Unless you're hosting a magazine photoshoot out there, it's just your patio. Give it a season and it'll blend in with the dirt and wear anyway.
