So frustrated I found out my backyard soil has lead levels at 400 ppm after a $30 test kit from Home Depot

I was just trying to start a veggie garden in Denver and figured a cheap test would be fine. Anyone else deal with contaminated dirt and have a fix that doesn't cost a fortune?

Laughing at myself now cause I literally planted a whole raised bed before testing and found out the soil could sponsor a Superfund site. I ended up going with raised beds filled with clean soil from a local nursery and it saved my sanity and my tomatoes. My garden’s just one big overpriced planter box now but at least I'm not accidentally growing toxic kale.

raised beds are the move honestly. way cheaper than trying to fix the whole yard.
