My old tomato cages were a joke after 2 windy seasons in Texas

I used to just shove those cheap wire cones from the big box store into my raised beds, but every thunderstorm would flatten them by July. Last spring I switched to building cages out of concrete reinforcing mesh and some stakes from the hardware store. Has anyone else found a sturdier setup for heavy vining plants without breaking the bank?

Heard concrete mesh lasts way longer than those flimsy cages.

@ivanl76 Yeah but mesh rips way easier if you don't set it right.
