Almost ruined my whole garden bed with cheap landscape fabric
Had a big weed problem after the heavy rains in June and grabbed the cheapest roll from the hardware store. Stuff tore like paper and now I'm digging out roots that grew right through it. Anyone else just skip the fabric and go with cardboard and mulch instead?

Cardboard is just one of those things where the cheap version ends up costing you more time and money in the long run. It's wild how often that pattern shows up, whether it's tools, clothes, or garden supplies. Paying a little extra for decent stuff upfront usually saves you from a headache down the road.
