Torn between tacos and stir fry after a long work day last Tuesday
Honestly, I got home around 7pm after finishing a fence install in the suburbs and my brain was fried. I had ground beef in the fridge and a bag of frozen veggies in the freezer, so I was stuck between quick tacos or a stir fry. Tacos seemed easier since I could just brown the meat and toss in the seasoning, but I was craving something with less cheese. So I went with the stir fry, threw the beef in with some soy sauce and garlic, and added the frozen broccoli and carrots. It came together in like 10 minutes flat, but the beef tasted a bit dry because I didn't drain the water right. Has anyone else had that problem where their stir fry meat gets chewy?
