Warning: My first digital art show was a pixelated disaster

Three years ago I submitted a piece to a local online gallery without checking the file specs. The image was only 72 dpi and looked super blurry on the big screen. Has anyone else messed up their export settings for a show?

What file type did you use? I've seen people send JPGs when they needed a lossless PNG, or forget to embed color profiles so everything prints with a weird green tint.

Ugh, yes! @the_richard, the color profile thing is a killer. I had a client send a PDF for a banner once and all the blues came out this weird purple. They'd worked in ProPhoto RGB and just tossed it into a doc without converting. Total mess to fix.

JPEGs actually can look fine if exported right.
