Spent a whole month painting with my tablet upside down
I was working on a portrait in Clip Studio Paint and kept messing up the eye angles. My friend, who was watching over Discord, finally asked why my brush strokes were going the opposite way I was moving my hand. Turns out, when I set up my new Huion tablet back in April, I never flipped the screen rotation setting from its default. I'd been drawing with a mirrored display for four weeks straight. Has anyone else done something this silly with their gear setup?

Feel your pain on a spiritual level. Did the same thing with a Cintiq driver once. The sudden correction felt like learning to walk again.

UGH YES that is exactly it. I did the exact same thing with my Wacom tablet after I moved and unpacked everything wrong. For like three weeks I was fighting with the cursor going the opposite direction and I just thought my old tablet broke or something. By the time I found the driver toggle I had already trained myself to draw mirrored so now my brain just automatically flips everything in my head when I look at the screen. It's honestly so confusing but also kinda cool like I can accidentally draw better backwards now.

Man, that's brutal. You basically trained your brain on hard mode for a month. At least your muscle memory for mirrored drawing must be insane now.
