PSA: My tablet pen died mid-layer on a 12-hour portrait piece

Last Wednesday I was deep into a digital portrait, about 8 hours in, doing fine details on the eyes. Then my pen just stopped responding. I thought it was the software, so I restarted Procreate and lost my last 45 minutes of work. Turns out the battery in the pen was dead and I had no backup. Has anyone else had a creative flow totally wrecked by a dead stylus battery?

Oh man, that's brutal. I've had a similar thing happen where my bluetooth stylus disconnected right as I was pulling a smooth line together. It's the worst when your tools fail at the worst possible time.
