Pro tip: stopped using free stock photos and saw my engagement double

I used to grab everything from Unsplash for my digital art portfolio banners, then last month I tried creating my own abstract renders in Blender instead. The difference was night and day - my gallery views jumped from 200 to over 500 in just two weeks after swapping out those generic backgrounds. Has anyone else ditched stock images for original work and seen a similar bump?

Ngl I had the same thought when I switched out my old modem for a new one. I was sure I'd fixed my wifi issues but my buddy pointed out I'd also moved the router from behind the TV to on top of a bookshelf that same day. For me what actually helped was isolating one change at a time, so I knew for sure it was the modem swap and not something else. I even went back to the old spot for a day just to test it out. Honestly, sometimes the little things like moving a cord six inches can make the biggest difference.
