Spent $400 on a set of Snap-On wrenches and wish I hadn't
Bought a full set of flank drive plus combination wrenches three years ago thinking they'd pay for themselves in durability. Two of them have already rusted at the chrome seams and one cracked at the box end. Anyone else had luck with cheaper brands holding up better long term?

My buddy's Harbor Freight set still looks new.

Returned my last Snap-On wrench set for that exact reason. The chrome just flakes off. Switched to GearWrench from the parts store. Their warranty is no questions asked, just walk in and swap it. Been using the same 13mm for two years of heavy shop work, no rust, no cracks.

Wait, so the Snap-On dude with the cool truck is selling wrenches that peel like a sunburn? That's hilarious. Guess I'll stick with my rusty old Craftsman then, at least I know what I'm getting.
