Am I the only one who's custom turbo build keeps hitting snags?
Every time I think I'm done, another leak pops up.

From day one? That's rough. I mean, you'd expect better. Maybe it's just me but that's a straight-up defect.

Ever try swapping all the factory clamps for constant-tension ones? That fixed my boost leaks for good. Cooper.viola is right, a new part failing straight away is a defect, but sometimes the stock hardware just can't handle the extra pressure. I chased phantom leaks for weeks until I replaced every single clamp on the charge pipes and intercooler. The cheap ones can look tight but still let air slip past under boost.
