A farmer in Yakima told me to check the lift pump first when a 6.7 Powerstroke cranks but won't start. He saved me three hours of chasing wires.

Ever had one of those fixes that's so dumb you almost don't want to tell anyone? I swear the simpler it is, the longer we spend overthinking it lol.

Reminds me of the time my uncle's old Ford wouldn't fire. We spent a whole afternoon checking the fuel filter and relays. Some guy at the parts counter just said "tap the starter with a hammer." Felt like an idiot when it cranked right over. Sometimes the fix is stupid simple.

That hammer trick is a classic. My neighbor's lawnmower sat dead in his shed for two summers. He bought a new carburetor kit and everything. I finally went over, pulled the cord, and pointed out the kill switch was flipped to off. The look on his face was priceless. We drank his beer in silence for a good ten minutes.
