The local game store owner told me rolling in a tray is cheating, but every pro streamer I watch uses one.
One guy at the shop says it changes the physics of the dice, the other says it's just to keep them from bouncing off the table, so what do you actually think is the right way to roll at a tournament?

Yeah, I feel you. The rules are confusing for no reason sometimes.

Haven't you ever read the terms and conditions from start to finish though? They literally spell everything out in black and white, it's just long not confusing. If people actually took 20 minutes to read through instead of clicking "agree" right away they'd save themselves a headache later.
