Rolled three nat 20s in a row last night during a boss fight

I was running a homebrew one-shot for my group and the BBEG was supposed to be a tough slog, but I rolled three natural 20s on attack rolls in a row. My players just stared at me like I cheated (which I definitely didn't). Has anyone else had a streak like that totally wreck your planned encounter?

And that's exactly why I never plan encounters past the first round anymore, you know? I've had similar streaks where the dice just decide to tell their own story, and it's honestly kind of liberating once you accept it. My group actually loves those moments now because it makes the game feel more like a real adventure (even if my carefully crafted boss gets wrecked in two turns).
