TIL that old D&D modules hit different when you run them on a CRT monitor
I was running a 1980s module for my group last weekend and decided to hook my laptop up to an old CRT TV I found at a thrift store for the retro feel. The scanlines and low resolution actually made the dungeon maps look more like the original book art, and my players said the text felt more "authentic" somehow. Has anyone else tried running digital tools through period-appropriate screens to match their old-school adventures?

Ngl that's the most hipster D&D take I've heard in a while.
