Bought a digital DM screen for $60 and it slowed my sessions way down
I grabbed one of those fancy tablet-style DM screens last month thinking it would make tracking combat faster. But I spent more time swiping through menus to find monster stats than I used to with a paper binder and sticky notes. The battery died mid-session during a boss fight, and I had to scramble for my physical books. Has anyone else had better luck with those digital tools, or did I just pick a clunky one?
