My $12 poker table felt fix that saved a house game

Last month at a buddy's place in Akron, the cards kept snagging on this old cloth table, and everyone was getting annoyed. I grabbed a roll of neoprene sheet from a hardware store for about 12 bucks, cut it to size, and taped it under the playing surface. It totally killed the friction, and now I bring it to every game I host. Anyone else use a quick DIY fix like that for your setup?
