Finally ditched cardboard boxes for a proper deck binder

I used to keep all my custom decks in those flimsy cardboard tuck boxes and they'd get beat up just from sliding around in my drawer. Last month I picked up a 400-pocket binder from a flea market in Portland for 8 bucks and transferred everything over. Now I can flip through all my decks like a photo album and the cards stay mint. Anybody else convert to a binder system or am I just being extra?

Binder system is the move once you've got more than like 15 decks. Pro tip though, make sure you get sideloader pages not toploader ones, otherwise your cards can slide out when you flip through. I learned that the hard way after dumping half my collection on the floor. Also check that the binder has a zipper closure, keeps dust and pets out way better than the elastic band ones.

omg @coleman.jamie that first sentence is basically my entire origin story as a collector. except i used a shoebox for way too long and then cried when my cat decided it was a bed. i feel like the zipper binder is the final boss of organization, once you get that you've basically won.
