DAE hear someone's leaky earbuds on the L train and rethink their whole volume habit?
Last Thursday some guy two seats over in Chicago was blasting a podcast so loud I could follow his true crime episode word for word, and I caught myself checking if my own buds leaked at 60% volume. How loud do you all actually run yours on a packed commute before you feel like that guy?

60% is my cutoff too, mostly because I tested it once by recording a voice memo with my buds in and playing it back. Sounded like a tiny radio in my pocket, so I dropped to like 50 on the Red Line. The real trick is foam tips, they seal way better and you can hear everything at lower volume.
