Realized I've been using my phone's flashlight wrong for like 5 years

I always tapped the flash icon to turn it on, then swiped up to get to settings to dim it. Last Tuesday I found out if you just long press the flash icon in control center, it pops up the brightness slider instantly. Anyone else just now learning this?

@sam_anderson same, dim setting is a lifesaver for late night walks.

I was like 3 years into using my iPhone before I figured out you could long press on the flashlight. I always went into settings like a dummy. My buddy Dave showed me when he saw me fiddling with the screen one night at a bonfire. I felt pretty dumb but honestly it saved me so much time since I use the dim setting a lot when I'm walking my dog at night.
