My boss told me to stop using the snooze button as a habit tracker on my phone

I used to set like 10 alarms on my phone and would snooze each one to track how many times I hit it during the morning. My boss saw my lock screen once and said 'that's not helping your sleep cycle, you're just training your brain to ignore alerts.' So I switched to a single alarm with the 'time to rise' feature on my Pixel 6 that uses my sleep data from my smartwatch. Now I wake up feeling way less groggy, but I still miss the satisfying feeling of tapping that snooze button. Has anyone else used their alarms for something weird besides waking up?

But isn't tracking your snooze pattern kinda genius though?

Oh come on, it's just hitting snooze. Do we really need to overanalyze every little thing we do?
