Hot take: is changing your phone wallpaper weekly a productivity booster or a total distraction?

I had this wild week where I swapped my lock screen every morning for 5 days. Monday was a calming forest photo (felt focused). Wednesday was a bright neon gradient (felt jittery). Friday I used a plain black screen (felt nothing). By Saturday I couldn't tell if I was wasting time picking images or actually refreshing my brain. Anyone else notice a real difference or am I just bored?

Blew two hours last Tuesday trying to find a retro arcade wallpaper that matched my phone case, then realized I'd forgotten to eat lunch. Honestly it just made me more distracted, not more productive.

Blew my whole morning once trying to find the perfect wallpaper and ended up doomscrolling for an hour. Now I just use whatever default came with the phone, my brain's too fried for this.

Whoa, try a screenshot of your calendar instead for instant focus.
