So tired of people adding "that's what she said" to jokes that don't even fit

Was at a barbecue last Saturday and my uncle tells this pun about a guy who can't find his favorite fishing lure. Someone chimes in with "that's what she said" and it made zero sense with the punchline. It's like they heard the word "lure" and just went for it without thinking. I get that dad jokes are supposed to be groan-worthy, but at least match the setup, you know? Has anyone else noticed people forcing that line into places it doesn't belong?

Yeah, I feel you on this. It's like people have a reflex now. They hear a word that could be remotely dirty and they just blurt it out. I was at a work thing and someone said "I need to get this screwdriver in a tight spot" and this guy yells "that's what she said." Totally killed the moment. It's just lazy humor at this point.
