DAE spend $30 on a pun-a-day calendar and regret it by February?

I grabbed one of those 365-day dad joke calendars from a bookstore in January, thought it would be a fun start to my mornings. But by February, I realized half the jokes were either recycled from other calendars or just plain not funny. I kept flipping through and finding the same puns I'd seen online for free. Plus the paper quality was cheap, like newsprint that tore easily when I tried to hang it on the fridge. I wasted $30 and now I'm just using the leftover pages for scratch paper. Has anyone else fallen for those calendar gimmicks, or found one that actually delivers good jokes all year?

Oh man, I actually found a hidden use for mine that made it worth it! I started tearing out the lame puns and using them as bookmark gifts for friends who appreciate bad humor. It turned into a weird social thing where people would compete to find the worst joke in the pile. By summer I was actually looking forward to the duds because they were funnier than the intended jokes. Plus I saved the decent ones to tape onto birthday presents later in the year. So yeah the calendar itself was garbage but it became a whole different kind of entertainment for me.
