Can we talk about how a pun about my barber fell flat 3 times before the mailman laughed?
I told the same haircut pun at dinner Tuesday and nobody got it, so I almost gave up on it. Then my mailman Gary cracked up at the curb, which convinced me some jokes just need the right crowd. Any of you ever save a joke for a specific person instead of cutting it?
Saving a joke for one specific person sounds like a good way to never tell it again, honestly. "Some jokes just need the right crowd" is a nice way of saying the joke isn't that good, maybe.
